Hey, y'all it’s Aaron here, and today I'm going to be sharing with you some insight into the future of online clothing brands and boutiques. I’m also going to break down one strategy that is going to set you apart from your competition, build brand loyalty and make you a ton of money.

So number one is email and SMS marketing, that is text message marketing. 

It's never been more important to own your list and own your own data. The cost of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, social media advertising as we know it is on the rise. Now, that doesn't mean it isn't still a great buy to be on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok or whatever you just decided to use, because it absolutely is, but where you are going to gain margin for your brand or boutique is going to be with email and text message marketing and automations. 

I suggest setting up several automations to set and forget, but then you should be emailing your list three times per week with at least one text message. Remember, your goal is to stay top of mind. It's about to get real busy and noisy.

This is by far one of the easiest and most cost effective ways for you to get in front of your audience. The best part is that it helps you really develop a relationship with your customers online. And this strategy alone could double your online sales.

Number three, personalization.

You have got to personalize as much as you can. The amount of endorphins that fire when someone receives a package in the mail is, well, I don't know exactly, but let's just say it's a lot. Now, imagine if you took the time to write something special and personalized to them. You're going to be their favorite brand. And guess what? The discount you also dropped in the bag, they're going to use it right away, especially after they get an email and a text reminder to make sure to use it.

Drop Collections

The next one here is powerful and if it's done correctly, will absolutely change your business and the way you set it up. 

So number four, what you've been waiting for, and thank you for sticking around, is Collection Drops.

Now go with me here. So imagine you created a page on your website that was catered towards a theme, a season or event, and then you created content around that collection to drop and drive traffic to that page.

Now the fun part starts. Imagine someone went there to buy one item, but if you have the right tools in place, like OneClickUpsell, you could go now and suggest other items based on the collection that they're already shopping.

Now, for those next level people, you can also start running ads for everyone who visits that page and start suggesting other items in that collection as well, whether it's a cross-sell, up sell, down sell, you can start using ads to promote that as well.

Whether it's a full blown boutique or a T-shirt company, the growth of your business is dependent on two things. Number one is getting new customers to buy more than they thought they were going to.
