In today's episode, we talk about the 4 things your website needs in 2019:

  1. Less Clutter - Keep your website simple and impactful. Big companies like, Apple, take this approach on their sites. Get rid of unnecessary clutter. You should be able to convey your message in a concise and straightforward way. Attention spans are getting shorter and shorter. Also, break down text into more digestible content, easier to read; Neil Patel does a great job of this on his blog.
  2. Animation - Again, attention spans are getting shorter so animations are a great way to keep people engaged. Now we are not saying to have your whole website moving everywhere but those subtle animations that make a truly great experience.
  3. Video - Using video was a big trend in 2018 and 2019 is going to be bigger. It’s easier to convey a point or tell a story using video. A lot of websites using video in their hero sections to captures people attention too.
  4. Truly great mobile experience - Mobile responsiveness is great and a lot of websites have adopted a responsive approach to their designs. BUT PLEASE make sure you truly navigate throughout your whole website.
